The Country Side Press

We are a small, independently owned publisher of select books that began with Debby Schoeningh’s newspaper column, “The Country Side.” As the wife of an eastern Oregon  cattle rancher, her column consists of detailed and humorous accounts of living and working in the country.

Since the publishing of her first three books, “Tails From the Country Side,” “The Horseless Rancher” and “Cattle Drive,” she has recently branched into children’s books in collaboration with  well known illustrator, Margaret Brown, from Idaho.

The Country Side Press will soon be publishing a history book, more children’s books with Margaret Brown, and stay tuned for Schoeningh’s upcoming novel!
